《国宝时刻》文物超高清影像记录工程由国家广播电视总局和国家文物局联合策划实施，作为深入学习贯彻习近平文化思想的生动实践，工程用视听语言讲述文物故事，用超高清技术赋能文化传承，以每集拍摄一件文物、每个文物5分钟的精炼体量制作传播，进一步推动文物从“馆舍展陈”融入“生活场景”，让广大人民共享文化遗产保护成果，也为世界人民更好地理解中国、读懂中国提供了深刻而生动的窗口。首批发布的50部作品包括新石器时代七孔骨笛、夏代镶嵌绿松石兽面纹铜牌饰、周代大克鼎、秦代铜车马、汉代长信宫灯、唐代八曲葵花形螺钿铜镜、宋代汝窑天蓝釉刻花鹅颈瓶、元代青花萧何月下追韩信图梅瓶、明代《坤舆万国全图》、清代广彩人物纹大碗等。
